Privacy policy

CurbSnap is published by United Integrated Support Services, LLC (“we”). This page describes how the Android app handles information today. Contact: unitedintegratedss@gmail.com.

What the app stores

CurbSnap is a private address book on your phone. Photos you snap or import, text read from those photos, and the contacts you review and file live in the app’s local storage. We do not operate a CurbSnap account for the current app, and we do not receive your curb-book contents on our servers.

What the app can access

• Camera — to photograph signs, vans, cards, and lists.
• Photos you import — gallery pictures you choose, and spreadsheet files you choose to import.
• Phone Contacts — only if you export or add people to the phone book. CurbSnap does not copy your curb book into Contacts on its own.
• Internet — Google ML Kit may download on-device text-recognition models. Reading a photo does not upload that photo to us.

Backup

If Android Backup is on, contact records and settings can be included in your Google backup. Capture photos are excluded from that cloud backup because of size limits; they can still copy during a phone-to-phone device transfer. You can also make an optional zip file copy yourself.

Sharing from the app

Call, text, email, share sheet, and save-to-Photos send data to the app you pick (Messages, Gmail, and so on). Those apps have their own policies. Mass text and email use the channels on your phone; we do not send those messages through a CurbSnap server.

Analytics and ads

The current app does not include advertising or a third-party analytics SDK. We do not sell your information.

Children

CurbSnap is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

What is not in the app yet

Shared Books, paid Team sync, and cloud AI enrichment are planned. Those features would involve an account and data leaving the device. They are not in the current app. This policy will be updated before they ship.

Changes

We will post updates on this page with a new effective date.
